ESMI was established in 1986 with the sole purpose of serving the manufacturing needs of the fast growing high tech industry in San Diego, California. Throughout the years, we have always focused on cutting edge manufacturing technologies. We currently hold four patents in soldering technology. One of the primary duties of ESMI’s staff of manufacturing and quality engineers is to research new manufacturing and packaging technologies. This has led us to successfully outpace our competitors in advanced manufacturing processes such as doubled-sided SMT with BGA and through hole. We are currently investigating the feasibility of the upcoming manufacturing trends such as COB/Flipchip. We have provided thousands of hours of design for manufacturability reviews for our customers that have helped them cut manufacturing costs and time to market.
